Movie Review: "Great Fun"

An above average horror film, "Cursed" tells the story about a bunch of young people living in Los Angeles and becoming werewolves. The story sounds asinine, but the plot really works thanks to a strong script by horror genius Kevin Williamson, and the fantastic direction of Wes Craven. The actors are also exceptional, featuring performances by Christina Ricci, Joshua Jackson, and Shannon Elizabeth. "Cursed" was a big hit when released to theatres in 2005. In this special edition DVD two extra minutes were added to the final cut that features some graphic violence deemed too extreme for movie audiences. Scary, hair-raising, and a roller-coaster ride make "Cursed" a film that you shouldn't watch alone!Movie Review: You're Gonna Feel Cursed If You Pay Good Money To See This!!

This movie is your typical BAD werewolf movie. I usually like werewolf movies since my Mother comes from the Black Forest in Germany where the Legend actually orginated but this movie SUCKS!!! Poor dialogue, embarrassing acting and no apparent real direction. This movie is so bad that I suspect it JUST MIGHT become a so called "Cult Classic " in future years. Just as well I have no time for "Cults".This movie does have a very apt title because one gets the impression it just might have been Cursed (by a Hungarian Gypsy perhaps?) from the first day of shooting.I give this movie 5 stars because I kind of like Christina Ricci who has appeared in much better films than this .Movie Review: Glad I saw it

I wanted to see this movie the day it came out and never got the chance... I asked my closest friends and relatives how it was and most of them said it was ok but not scary or a 5 STAR rated movie Which is not true. All these other reviews are plain stupid CURSED is definitley a good movie its original..juicy..and has a great looking cast it also has unexpected scenes so theres nothing to predict (thats what makes it so good). Im glad i saw it to give it my own opinion Its anoother great one from Craven. Well long story short.. Ignore other reviews Give it your own.Movie Review: Remember the old saying?

You can lead a horse to water,but you can't make him drink. Well,the same can be said of movies too. You can make a great one,but you can't make them watch. Mr.Craven did excellent work here,this movie has great acting and f/x not to mention a darn good story. For those who missed it,if you are looking for a genuinely effective scary movie with a little dash of humor thrown in to lighten the mood a bit,I can't recommend this movie enough.Movie Review: Christina Ricci At Her Best
