Movie Review: You don't need to be a Britney fan to enjoy this movie.
Summary: 5 Stars
Despite the criticism regarding pop stars trying to be movie stars Britney proves her potential as a budding actress in this film. Crossroads is a good movie with realistic characters in realistic situations. The concepts addressed in this film are very easy for most 18-year old girls to relate to. At 22 and approaching college graduation I find myself relating to Kit, Mimi and Lucy and the challenges they face in growing up.
This is definitely a girl's movie, but it's definitely geared more towards Britney's peers rather than the stereotypical 12-year old pop fan.

When I walked into this movie I wasnt expecting much other then a typical teen movie. What I got was something much more then that. This was about peoples lives and how they deal with things we face in everyday life. Britney Spears does a great job in her first starring role. She makes the role so convincing that you think she is acually going through it in real life. This movie is really great and I think everyone should at least rent the movie to see how great it really is. Crossroads is a great movie for everyone and Britney does a great job in it! One word- Yowza! Guys who saw this flick know that the best scene ain't in the beginning before graduation, it's that night! Can I get a holla?! I mean, JEEZ! Girls, well, um, I don't know what to tell you about the story b/c the benefit of DVD is accessing the best parts & continually watching them over & over again like my boy JTapp! Props! I will say that anyone who ain't switch-hittin or changing teams (you know) will enjoy Lucy's "first" with her lab partner! That & b/c Dan Akyroyd is the bombs in this flick, but still ain't no Ray in Ghostbusters!Movie Review: Crossroads, a truly unique film!

Written by Chris StilwellTo be honest, the only reason I went to see Crossroads, was because Britney was in it, and I am one of her loyal fans.Personally what set it off for me was the trailer in which Britney danced around in her underwear. I realized that Crossroads is a lot better movie than I thought it would be. I was expecting a major chick flick, and well, yeah it was, but there was the mixture of comedy,drama, action, that made this film so great. Britney was a fine actress in her debut film, and I'm looking forward to her next big film...

What is the big deal? Britney is NO, I REAPEAT, NO "Razy Winner" Britney is just having fun wih this movie! This movie is a great campy, teen flick! It is not meant to be taken that seriously people! Just relax and give this movie a chance! I have two sisters who AREN'T Britney fans in the least bit, they liked this movie, because it is fun and just meant to give REAL teen issues a spot in the heart of their characters and their viewers! So just STOP being so affraid and just watch the TALENTED Britney do her thing, and just let her do her thing!!!
