Movie Review: Not bad; I was surprised

I saw CRITTERS on one of the IO channels because it was raining and I was bored. I thought it was going to be terrible, but, to my surprise, it's quite entertaining and enjoyable. It's a fun comedy/horror film in the vein of GREMLINS and it's very original. Even in the beginning, before the "critters" even arrive on Earth, the movie isn't boring, because we are introduced to all the charctors of the family that dealt with the "critters" and we see some of their different situations. Things really get goin' when the "critters" finally come! It's very funny and freaky at the same time and you'll definately like it if you liked GREMLINS.Movie Review: Essential b- movie adventure

This is a classic and after watching it on DVD its not hard to see why. Original concept, believable actors and acting, decent script. Compared to the sequels and remakes coming out of hollywood today, its stands tall. However, after seeing the DVD version, the film needs restored. Thats why i only gave it 4 stars, the film is so dark now that its hard to see whats going on as most of the action is at night. The colors need restored, it all seems like the master copy was not taken care of. Not surprising, but some effort could have been made to clean it up before transfering to DVD.Movie Review: "Great 80's Sci-Fi/Horror!"

Some parts of this film used to scared me as a kid, but I've always
liked it. I also like the tranformation effects of the bounty hunters
and I'm glad I got this dvd that has nice picture and sound plus a
neat alternate ending and trailers for all 4 films. I recommend this
great 80's film.

Brody "Brodyman" is a moron. I looked at his reviews, and all he does is make stupid remarks about how he'd rather be high on acid while watching a random bad sitcom. WOW! GREAT COMPARISONS! Idiot.
Anyway, this is a fun little flick. Better than GREMLINS, in my opinion...
