Movie Review: Peter O'Toole at his greatest!

Peter O'Toole is one of my favorite actors & this is (I think) his best movie. In my mind, it is the greatest movie that nobody has ever heard of. It is a tale about a doctor (O'Toole) who wants to clone his dead wife. However, the movie is about a lot more than that. He and his graduate assistant learn about love, friendship and the "big picture." It is kind of a cross between a drama and a comedy. Quite a deep movie that will make you laugh and leave you in tears as the final credits roll up the screen. Anyone who likes either Peter O'Toole or great intellectual movies (or both) will love this one. A fine flick!
Movie Review: A Touching Story About Unexpected Love

Peter O'Toole's best work to date. Ms Hemingway was excellent in this film despite the fact that it was one her first starring roles ('Lipstick' may have been filmed first). This movie will bring happy tears to your eyes... It is an incredible story about a Scientist who wishes to clone his dead wife and his relationship with the woman who volunteers to help him do so. This and 'The Doctor' are classics and must see - must have in your library or collection of art/films. I always recommend buying TWO of the classics so you can share or loan one to others. This movie is an understated gem of a film!! Start to finish, there is always something to make you grin. The performances are very good from all the players, and the dialogue is rich & very witty. Even the plot is quite unique, especially given the era the movie was made in. The central romances of the film--Harry/Meli and Boris/Barbara--are sweet & touching. I saw the movie "Creator" once many years ago and on occasion different things in my life would bring back up a memory of this movie. So for quite some time now I have had a desire to see "Creator" again and once I discovered it was available for purchase on Amazon I had to have it. Now "Creator" is in my film library and I am well pleased with my purchase.
