Movie Reviews of Cowboy Bebop - The Movie

Movie Review: You either love it or you hate it... and I love it.
Summary: 5 Stars

I was lucky enough to live in a place where this movie got a nice wide release... Even though I had already imported the movie and watched it, I wanted to see how they did with the dubbing. In all honesty, I think this is one of the best dubbing jobs EVER done in any anime series. The movie is great, it plays out just like the series did... and keeping in mind that this plays between sessions... and is truly intended to be just a 2 hour long episode, I think it's great. I've seen a couple of reviews saying that they didn't like this movie... that's fine, but I don't think that should detract from the rating that this movie deserves. I loved this movie, so of course I think it deserves a 5/5. And I hated Akira... but I could still respect it enough to see that there was something really really good there... just not my thing. Even if this isn't for everybody, that doesn't mean that it isn't good.
And it IS good. It is very very good. If you're not a fan of cowboy bebop, you probably won't like the movie... but if you are a fan, I don't see how you could NOT like it.

Movie Review: Pretty Good Movie!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been watching Cowboy Bebop seince pretty much Elementary School, so after watching a recent episode that I found more interesting now, than I did when I was a kid, I decided to check out the movie. As soon as it began with a pretty cool robbery scene, where Spike beats the crap out of some theifs, the first thing I noticed was the awsome animation, the very same kind of animation used in Akira, a few years before. This made the movie alot more watchable and the fight scenes alot more intense. The plot is pretty good as well, but im not going to spoil it for anyone. Now I read one reveiw where the reviewer said the movie felt "rushed", well I sorta agree.....sorta. I think more could've been done in the movie plot wise, and the ending was nothing special. I was counting on an ending as emotional as the final episode. Im not saying the ending was bad, im just saying the ending could've been way mare spectacular. Overall, I decided to give this movie a 5/5. Even with the somewhat rushed feeling to it, Cowboy Bebop isn't anything short of a great anime movie.

Movie Review: bebop at its best and dont u forget it.
Summary: 5 Stars

cowboy bebop is and will be one of the best animes out there. And the movie will not dissapoint. Now there are some people who complain about stupid things that arent wrong to begin with.First the music was great yoko kanno has still got it and the seatbelts always provide a great tune.Secondly i read in one of the reviews the the subtitles were wrong and im thinking what are u brain dead, hello the subtitles show the original script and they changed some of the words in the dubbning so they could get good lip sync. The story is like if u were waching an epipisode they didnt make anything extremly crazy so they could stick with the good old bebop formula. And someone had the nerve to say the fight scenes were short wrong they are far from short in the series they couldnt have long fight scenes because of time restrictions but since its a movie they can let it all out with the action. the extras are great the best parts are the 6 behind the scenes featurettes.so no matter what people say im sticking with my rating 5 out of 5.

p.s. see you space cowboy...

Movie Review: AT LAST !
Summary: 5 Stars

i was waiting for this dvd to be released in the uk,it got released, but as a rating 12 film.what the hell.......
so i bought it from the us amazon.
every body knows the cowboy bebop gang by now, this time a round they're hunting a terrorist.
my first introduction to bebop,well...good, not bad at all.
the story isn't that strong though, and the action scenes,as amazing as they were, stoped ,when you just started geting in to it.but it's also the kind of film you don't get bored from easily.i watch it four times, and every time i discover new delights, specially from the extra characters in the film.
the special features are good too.you get the making of the film, interview with the japanese cast, the us dub team, characters profiles and two music videos.the music videos are the same begining song and ending song ,but without the credits.
all that music was done by one person, yoko kano.that deserves respect.
p.s.ed is my favourite ,the japanese voiced ed,the dubbed one is annoying.

Movie Review: If you only see one movie this year, see this one..
Summary: 5 Stars

Instead of going for a more "cosmic" approach, the producers focused the story around more human elements: Spike and Jet breaking up a liquor store holdup to catch a wanted fugitive, followed by the opening credits featuring scenes of city life even if it does take place on Mars. Kids playing, people sitting outside a café, people working accompanied by some really sweet jazz music.

Impeccable.

The visuals? It was like watching a living Monet painting. The Fight scenes are so well choreographed and filmed that it was like watching an animated Jet Li film. Ed, Ein and Faye Valentine are also added to this marvelous drama and generate some very comical moments. I'm always amazed by Ed, an Anime kid who is actually very funny without being repulsively obnoxious.

Then it got better. The scene where Jet has to elude three military fighter jets (Jet vs. jets? hoo-ha!!) was worth the ticket price by itself.

Slick, stylish and visually stunning...The best anime series just got better.
