Movie Review: Unbelieveable!!

I bought this DVD last week and have probably watched it 10 times!! Everyone I've shown it to has gone out and bought it too! The symmetry between CS and the ASYO is amazing. It's a great collection of old CS favourites and a good selection of new tracks. As a previous reviewer put it, don't be put off by the fact that it's a Youth Orchestra, they are great. The highlight of the show is Shine, which ends the concert with the intensity and energy that CS are known for. Don't miss out on this DVD, it's a must have for any great rock collection.Movie Review: One of the best

This is one of the best live DVD's ever. Some of the songs are more impressive on this DVD than on their studio CD counterparts. The Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra is incredible and the arrangements of the songs are exceptional. The behind the scenes extras are very entertaining and enlightening. The crowd has great energy, as does the band who are getting even better with age. Video and audio are high quality with a really good 5.1 mix. There aren't many concert 5.1 mixes that I've liked but they got it right on this one!Movie Review: "That dog will hunt"

I too saw the concert on Directv and was blown away by the sound, the energy and the pure showmanship of both the band and the kids. I also had reservations about an orchestra and a rock band, but in this case it works. You have a new and refreshed Collective Soul with the amazing talent and energy of the Atlanta Youth Orchestra combining into one outstanding show. This is a Collective Soul live concert with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra that took place in April 2005. Collective Soul has put out some really good albums (Dosage is the best in my opinion). The ASYO are a very talented group of kids. Together they delivered a spectacular performance of some Collective Soul songs we all know and love and elevated each song's degree from excellent to superb. How neat it would be if CS could carry the orchestra on tour with them everywhere!Movie Review: Collective Soul: Home

I have purchased a lot of concert videos but this one is one of the best I've seen or heard.The video is stunning and the sound is awesome.I knew Collective Soul was a cool band but now they are on my list of favorites.The work they did to incorporate the Atlanta Youth Symphony was fantastic!!I would love to see them live very soon and I'm currently searching their tour dates.Purchase the DVD and invite a room full of friends over and CRANK IT UP.
