Movie Review: Sheer bliss

I also caught the Direct TV showing before the DVD/CD was released. I had the honor of meeting Ed and Dean recently. You could not meet two nicer guys who are extremely talently and create such wonderful and thought provoking music. The CD is a must have for all who have enjoyed CS over the past years. The addition of the Atlanta Youth Symphony just made the live show all the more memorable. Such energy was created! I have watched the DVD several times and just bought the CD. My heart sings and I get chills everytime I listen to this. My only regret is that I wasn't at the show itself.Movie Review: Excellent Concert but were used with a Bad DVDisk quality

Nothing to say less on my Favorite Band in Concert, Not a dull moment when im playing and Listening to it, specially in drinking Sessions. But Since 2007 I got the DVD upto March or February of this Year- 2010, the Disk Shows a water or oil spill like marking, that renders the DVD unreadable half of the concert were the mark is showing.. it was not there since i bought it. i don't know what happen. but all my DVD's dont show up like that after almost only 3 years..and it's kept in a good place- only me is using it. Wonder if i can get a warranty for it.. or im gonna buy a used one.Movie Review: Better than expected

When this was first released I passed on buying it because I couldn't see how a band like Collective Soul would mix with an orchestra. Then I recently caught a little bit of it on TV, and boy was I wrong. Immediately went on line to buy. The concert is great, typical CS show, but the orchestra adds another element that actually enhances the whole performance while not losing any of their rock and roll roots. Even the behind the scenes footage was fun to watch. Will Turpin is a total crack up while still maintaining that "cool" base player personality.Movie Review: Is it redundant of me to say "AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME"?

The reviews of this concert DVD were confusing. Confusing in the sense of this single question: "How could anyone NOT give it a 5 star rating?!?!?!" It was simply awesome. Collective Soul has shown on their studio albums an ability to incorporate string sections very seamlessly into their music, so the symphony backing was so natural and wonderful to hear. The sound quality was very good I thought, though not up to the superb quality of "Snakes and Arrows Live" by Rush. Anyone who is even a casual fan of Collective Soul will certainly enjoy this DVD.Movie Review: Totally Awesome!!!

I'm a middle aged African American female who is into mostly Gospel Music and some R&B. One day back in December I happened upon the Collective Soul Atlanta concert on Direct TV as I was flipping through the channels. I was sooo.. captured by the music and the youth orchestra just blew me away! I have never been to a rock concert, never have been interested, but I was singing and hollering just as if I was there. Wishing all along that I had been there. I'm about to buy this DVD now and I highly recommend it!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could.
