Movie Review: Great show!

I was a huge fan of Fire Within and as soon as this came out I had to get it. The show is spectacular, it's my favorite Cirque show by far. Every act is perfectly tuned and fits in so well with the rest of the show. I love the back story with Icarus, and can see how that helped develop the show. I do though prefer the second act it has much more emotion and the better acts. Any fan of Cirque should definately own Varekai.Movie Review: Unbelievable

Cirque du Soleil goes over the top with this offering. I am using this DVD as a a part of a unit on visual musicality with my music classes. Truly spectacular performances abound from the top down (no pun intended.) The comic relief is really comic, the music dazzling and the acrobatics are astounding. I plan to see this show in Pittsburgh this Spring. I can't wait!!! The DVD is worth the price and more!Movie Review: Excellent!!!!!!!!

This was a very well made show, i had seen it twice on bravo and knew i had to get it. John Gilkey's performance is out of this world. He and the entire troupe keep the audience mesmerized throughout the entire performance. I would highly recommend anyone to add Varekai to their video library. Quidam and Dralion are both excellent as well and i do have them in my collection, but, by far Varekai is my favoriteMovie Review: The best of Cirque de Soleil...

I'm particularly fond of this installment of Cirque, mainly because of Eiko Ishioka's involvement with the costume design. For those who aren't familar with her work, she won an Oscar for her visual styling in "Bram Stoker's Dracula". She is also responsible for the costumes and visuals for "The Cell", and directed Bjork's music video "Cocoon". Get this DVD now! The 5.1 surround sound is awesome.!Movie Review: BUY IT HERE CHEAPER

Of course the show is FANTASTIC saw it tonight live in DENVER and the dvd is $35 at the show - so buy it here and save $ - and when you catch your breath - watch it again! The twins are amazing And you wont beleive the ending! I had front row seats and still cant beleive what I saw, felt and heard! This is the way the rainbo was meant to be seen! WOW CIRQUE at its VERY best.
