Movie Reviews of CinderElmoMovie Review: 5 o'clock and all is well! Summary: 5 Stars
Those are the words that lovable, furry, Grover Monster speaks in the morning, waking everybody up in the wonderful kingdom of Sesame, including Cinderelmo, a cute little red monster who lives with his friend, Zoe, his dog, Prince, his not-so-mean stepmother (played by Kathy Najimy) and her sons. Cinderelmo dreams of playing at the palace with the lovely Princess Charming. Soon announced, there is to be a ball at the palace and all unmarried men and monsters are invited. Soon visited by his "fairy godperson," Cinderelmo is whisked away to the ball as well. When I had first seen this of TV, I loved it. I'm a big fan of Sesame Street as it is. I only wish that Big Bird had a bigger role in it. Either way, it was a good film. Kathy Najimy was superb as the stepmother. If you have little children who have or haven't seen CINDERELMO, don't miss out on getting the video. I surely won't!"Unmarried men and monsters, you're invited, on and all, to The Princess' Eighteenth Birthday Holiday Find A Husband Ball!"
Movie Review: Seseme Street doesn't let us down, as ususal Summary: 5 Stars
Fantastic movie for toddlers...my 3 year old loves this movie. It was the perfect introduction to a longer film with a plot for her to follow. The cast was wonderful, LOVED Oliver Platt. Great songs for the kids, and tolerable for the parents. Not one word in this video is offensive. Also throws in good values, looks aren't everything, it's what's inside...and don't just dream and wish, you have to actually do something to make your dreams come true...some adults should watch this! Perfect for boys and girls.
Movie Review: great movie for a 2 year old Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter absolutely loves this movie! She's an Elmo fanatic, so I highly reccomend this for any other Elmophile out there. I myself enjoyed watching it, especially because of Oliver Platt's performance as the Fairy Godperson, and, of course, Grover, who basically steals the whole show. If you enjoy a good Sesame Street movie, you'll definately enjoy this one. It has alot of replay value and the songs are really fun and pleasant, as opposed to irritating and overly repetitive.
Movie Review: Henson Productions do it again Summary: 5 Stars
A postively delightful treat for the youngsters, with plenty of jibes thrown in that only the adults will get. Keri Russel is friendly on the eyes and Oliver Platt has a blast. No one is too mean, but nothing is too sappy. The humor is reverant, but kid-friendly. How do the Henson folks do it so consistently? Buy this; your toddler will love it, and it won't drive you insane.
Movie Review: CinderElmo Summary: 5 Stars
This has become one of my 4yr. old daughter's favorite DVDs. The story was cleverly adapted to maintain a young child's attention. There's quite a bit of adult humor in it too. There are some good lessons within the story, and the cast did a terrific job in portraying their characters. Its overall entertainment value merits a high rating. I recommend it.
