Movie Review: Quality Viewing
Summary: 5 Stars
Yeah, I saw this film and really enjoyed it. The story is straight forward and the characters are interesting. Amir Farrokh Hashemian and Bahare Seddiqi are very convincing as the two siblings. I especially enjoyed the conversation between them in moments such as when Ali tells Zahra that he has lost her shoes. It's also good to be able to experience certain aspects of other cultures that we perhaps normally wouldn't be exposed to.It's good to see more people taking an interest in foreign films, with this one a welcome change from the many unoriginal creations from the Hollywood conveyor belt.

Children of heaven is the most charming picture about the childish emotional universe since the times of Salaam Bombay (India) and The cyclist (Iran) .
The sons of a humble worker are beloved brothers. He loses the shoes of his sisters and since that fact, he has to agree with her about changing the shoes and so he goes to class despite he arrives with certain delay.
The final solution appears before him. A race of 5 Km. with a pair of shoes for the third place.
Watch this true jewel of the cinema.

This is a real gem of a movie. The story line is simple - Ali loses his sister's only pair of shoes, and so to avoid their father's wrath, Ali and his sister share a single pair of shoes while scheming to get her a new pair. The movie is at times funny, but often tragic in its portrayal of a poor family trying to make it in Tehran's poor suburbs.
Excellent film making and excellent acting by the two child stars. This film won every award under the sun, and deservedly so.

I bought this film for my (8th grade)World Geography classes, unsure how they would feel about a film they would have to read. They LOVED it! My students laughed, cheered and they appreciated the overall message of the film. On my end of the year survey they listed this film as their favorite all year. This is just a great film that transcends any bias' you may have about watching an Iranian film, it shows with a great deal of heart that we are all more alike than we are different.Movie Review: THE CHILDERN OF HEAVEN

....Both kids looking at each other in QUIET,then going back home.They not asked for her missing shoes any more(after they find out the family's younger girl with her BLINDED father POORER than them Was the most parts of this movie so touching me.
They are realy RICHIEST one in this world
I wish all RICH and "POOR" People (NOT ONLY KID)just spend ONLY 90 minute to watch and look around then find out WHAT WE HAD TOO MUCH ,TOO MANY and WHAT WE MISSING.
