Movie Review: I was surprised... :-)

I have to admit that I was dragged into the movie theater - I simply was not interested in a movie about a chicken. But I was positively surprised... I have watched it twice - the first time I saw the normal version and the second time I watched the 3D Version. Even though I loved the normal version, you have to see the 3D Version! That is amazing! If you have the choice - see the 3D Version. Great movie, great music! So much detail in every frame... funny... cute... I liked it as much as I liked the Pixar movies. I saw "Chicken Little" on Friday and am amazed how cynical some folks are about this movie, including Ebert and Roper. This is a cute movie with a lot of laughs IF you go to it to be entertained, not to critique. I'd say this film is more in line "The Incredibles" in terms of violence and cruelty than "Finding Nemo." If your kids can handle that movie, they'll be able to handle this one. Finally, don't leave too soon, I chair-danced my way through the start of the end credits. This movie is very entertaining for my 3 yr. old grandson, and for his grandparents as well. The story is easy to follow, moves along to keep our attention, and the characters are endearing.
There are morals to the story, like, don't doubt yourself, stick with your good friends, parents aren't perfect, etc. There are lots of quick comments and jokes that keep us amused (through the many replays).
I'd recommend it to anyone with children.
Movie Review: Be sure to see the Digital 3-D version!

The digitally projected, polarized 3-D version is astonishing. The clearest, brightest image I have ever seen in a multiplex; this is truly the future.
The movie itself was a cute kid flick; if not as good as the best of Pixar, so what? The kids and adults in the audience seemed delighted with it. The venom against this film is mostly illogical; just enjoy the family film (in glorious digital 3-D) and forgot the comparisons to other movies.
Movie Review: Listen to your children

We watched this movie to the movie theater and all of us (incleding our two and a half year old son) were entertained. True the scene with the aliens at the field was a little bit scary.
What I want to underline about this movie is the eloquent way it presented about how important it is to listen to what our kids have to say even if some times what they say seems to be unbelievable or unrealistic.
Good movie for family entertainment.
