Movie Reviews of Chicken Little

Movie Review: Fish deserves his own movie !!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Chicken Little was far better than I expected in every way, but enough about the movie... we are now fans of Fish (Out of Water)!. Fish steals the movie and deserves his own movie altogether. What a cute and fun character! We watched the DVD several times just to see Fish's scenes again. Fish has his fans at Disney too obviously because when you surf through the DVD you find more of Fish than Chicken Little. He also has his own game in the official Chicken Little website. I think what makes Fish so endearing is his totally happy attitude no matter the situation... he seems ready for fun always. Don't know how he wound up with the other stereotypical Chicken Little story group (like "Turkey Lurkey" or whatever)... but Fish is more than a supporting character, he's a star and we hope to see more of him. Fish fans unite!!!

Movie Review: A True Delight
Summary: 5 Stars

Chicken Little was a little difficult not to like. In a day and age when morals are trivialized in cinema - what with all the violence and pushing the envelope - Chicken Little (along with Bambi 2) makes viewing for kids wholesome again. Both Chicken Little and Bambi 2 allow even the most hardened adult to kick back and just let the story take him/her where it will go. Both animated features are based on reconciliation with one's progeny. There is no better way to spend a saturday morning with one's progeny and lazily allow cinema do for us what our post-modern world does not allow us to do - communicate. Kudos all the way around!

Movie Review: A refreshing movie during a bland movie run
Summary: 5 Stars

For the pure fact that I have been unmotivated to catch any kids movie recently Chicken little was a surpriseingly bright star! It is refreshing too to a movie now that BOTH my son and daughter like. Especially one that isnt overly girly..In a world bombarded by princesses, fairies and super heros,it is nice to have an everyday hero, even if he is a chicken.
I went in with low hopes, not really thinking I would like it based on previews. I left giddy and excited to catch kids movies again. they created a great set of charaters. The story was entertaining throughout the whole movie. and in the End, there really isnt a bad guy :).

Movie Review: highly entertaining
Summary: 5 Stars

Highly enjoyable. Fun twist on the old. Getting tired of the Disney formula (child missing one or both parent(s)disfunctional and/or ignorant
parent or family member(s) raising misunderstood child)
Love the fact that being yourelf and not conforming to the stereotypical cheerleader and jock theme is encouraged throughout the movie. The characters had depth and personality, the animation was fun, the jokes and little remarks kept the movie rolling. Most younger kids won't get the jokes, or the references but then again kids aren't usually even paying attention to those details. It was just fun to watch.

Movie Review: My kids are still talking about it...
Summary: 5 Stars

I took my two oldest boys, ages 7 and 9, to see this movie on opening weekend. The theater was packed! Obviously a popular choice.
To be honest - we LOVED this movie. Disney has another huge hit. The visuals were astonishing, the jokes were funny, adults will enjoy the movie as well as children, and the plot was terrific with a great message throughout the movie.
Shame on the critics (especially Ebert and Roeper), what movie were they watching?
I enjoyed the movie so much I might fork over the money to go see it in the theater again. We can't wait for this one to come out on DVD!
