Movie Review: WEST SIDE STORY BONUS
Summary: 5 Stars
For years I've been hoping someone would release the 15 minute West Side Story which Cher did on a pre-Oscar Dolly Parton show sometime during the 1980s. Cher plays all four leads AND all of the Jets. Well, someone did ...it's a bonus on this DVD set. I remembered being blown out of my seat when I first saw it, and hoped it would hold up to my memory of it. Which it does, in aces and spades! It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on TV ... a true tour-de-force that left me with my jaw agape and the tears streaming down my face. Honestly ... is there anything this woman CAN'T do?
Movie Review: THE BEST AND NOTHING LESS!

I bought this along with the cd and I can't stop playing this DVD. The packaging, songs, dancing, her entrance, the audience, her monologues, and everything else makes this the best concert dvd! You're definitely getting your money's worth with this! Her costume changes reflect her many different moods throughout the show and you feel it right along with her! She's at her sexiest (to me) with her disco dress oufit for "Take Me Home". I'm at a loss for words...other than my subject line...she, the dancers, band and everyone else involved gives it their best and it shows right through.Movie Review: Wow - I was captivated!!

I went to a big party at a friend's house this weekend and he just bought this DVD. I couldn't help but be antisocial because I was mesmerized by this concert!! I saw the live concert on TV, but they polished and fine-tuned this DVD release! The costumes, staging, mixing, balancing, video and interaction are all to be goals for future concert DVDs...but I guess we are talking about Cher. The DVD packinging is awesome, with a holographic background that accentuates her youth.
Eventhough this dubbed the "Farewell Tour". I really hope she is lying!! <snicker>

this DVD captrues CHER at her peak of performance with crazy costumes and far-out wigs and make-up. the extra features are awesome! with extra songs and extra monologues from other concerts, costume design and still gallery, and her CRAZY version of "West Side Story" in it's entirety. there are backstage clips along with other scenes that were not televised on the special on NBC. the dancers are flawless, the band is phenomenal, and CHER was, and still is, DIVA in every glitzy, glittery aspect imaginable. this is her goodbye, so make sure you own this!Movie Review: Wow Cher IS The Greatest John Chicago Illinois
