Movie Review: CHER DESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS ! ! !
Summary: 5 Stars
Honestly I expected a different format from her las '99Believe Tour, but, who cares, CHER CAN DO WHATEVER SHE MIGHT WANT AT ANY TIME...This concert features some of her biggest hits, from her 5 decades carrer, from the 65's "All I Really Wanna Do, up to 2001's "Different Kind Of Love Song". One of the most attractive points on this concert are all her costumes, totally amazing.Other cool thing are the sequences played during her costume changes, they rock! CHER looks totally gorgeous, her voice is extremely powerful, she's just the best.To tell the truth, CHER IS THE ONLY AND TRUE WORLD MUSIC DIVA...there's no option...Sorry Madonna.

Cher is wonderful! This is definitely worth the pay.
AND... I have a bone to pick with someone. Did I just read someone's review that said Madonna has always been herself? Please! Madonna, at first was made up to look like Marilyn Monroe. Is that original? No. Madonna, actually, has been trying to copy Cher all her singing carreer. In Madonna's Confessions tour, she dropped from the ceiling and cracked a whip. Sound familiar? I thought so. Madonna is a also a vulgar, disgusting woman, who has done many SICK things. I don't think there's room here to list them all.
So face it, Cher is better. This DVD is wonderful, and you will many fun times watching this.

Cher is one of my favorites artists of all time.
Her music is great, I love it. This dvd includes many of her greatest hits as she steps up on stage at American Airlines Arena in MIAMI BEACH !!!
The concert is excellent, perfect, amazing, etc. I recommend it to everybody.
The only problem is that the sound on the dvd version is quite bad. The TV version is excellent, but not the one on dvd. The sound of the instruments is not clear and is low and dull in most of the songs. The person or people that did the mixing made a terrible job.
But apart from that the show is !!!

Movie Review: An amazing emotional concert.

My husband is the real Cher fan of the family, so I bought this DVD for him. However, I enjoyed this concert at least as much as he did. They do this incredible thing of showing her singing side by side with herself of 40 years ago. I had a huge emotional reaction to several of the older clips that were shown, alternating between laughter and tears. Cher is shown singing with Sonny, including the reunion on the late night talk show. This concert is one of the best concerts that we have seen on DVD.In her Farewell Tour, she is going out like she came in: funny, beautiful, flashy, sexy and energetic. Thank you, Cher, for forty wonderful years. We will miss you.

My husband and I never missed the "Sonny and Cher" show on tv and have always been Cher fans. When her farewell tour was on tv of course we were glued to our seats. I recently saw "Burlesque"(twice as a matter of fact)and it reminded me of how much I enjoyed her performances and decided I wanted a DVD of the farewell tour. Of course it wasn't in any stores around here but there it was on Amazon. The price was beyond reasonable and it arrived in just a few days. The quality of the DVD is excellent and tho my husband has passed away and not here to enjoy it with me, I'll watch it remembering him and look forward to introducing the grandkids to Cher's amazing talent.
