Movie Review: Paradise is Here (a dream come true)

Bravo Cher! I've been lucky enough to see this tour three times, two of which I was pulled to the front row. The most recent time I saw her show, Cher talked to me about my costume (I was dressed as Sonny) and at the very end, she reached down and grabbed my hand. At that moment one of my dreams truely did come true. I was absolutly blown away by Cher's power house voice, outrageous sense of style, and charming personality. This woman is an absolute marvel! She truley gave me something to "believe" in. Granted people are quick to say Cher doesn't have much as far as substance, but WHO REALLY CARES! She ROCKS in every sense of the word, and she does it with her own flare and compassion. And like Cher says "f*#@ 'em!" Yeah that's right, "Follow this you b%@#$es!" I saw Cher live in Calgary, AB on August 25th 2003 and it was an AMAZING show. This DVD came out the day after oddly enough, but I still picked it up. Anytime I want to relive that amazing night, I pop in the DVD and watch and remember. This show is a testament to Cher's success, and a great overview of her career. She sings all the favorites, offers some bitchy quibbles and gives overall a great show. It was pricey but worth it to see her live! It's sad to say goodbye but she's still in top form. This is a great DVD, you won't be disapointed if you love Cher. This IS Cher, everything about this show. Some of the best performances include "Still Havent Found What I'm Looking For", "All Or Nothing", "After All", the medleys, and more. Overall a great show you'll watch over and over!Movie Review: WOW!

This DVD is a MUST HAVE!! I was lucky enough to see this sensational diva in concert here in St Louis on October 4, 2003. It was truly the best concert I have ever been to in my life! The DVD truly makes you feel like you are part of the concert!! The behind the scenes documentary of the show is just too cool and gives one a rare glimpse as to what really makes the show tick. Having worked in theater myself this really shows how wonderful Cher and her team are! Although I have not had the privilege of meeting her in person (yet, I hope), you can really tell she loves what she does and loves the people around her. Her presence is awe inspiring and second to none!Thanks Cher!! You are the best!! I Look forward to the other avenues that you choose to express your talent!

I WAS SOMEWHAT INDIFFERENT TO CHER'S MUSIC DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE GENERAL TYPE OF MUSIC I LISTEN TO IS PINK FLOYD, BAD COMPANY, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, AND THE LIKE, BUT, I AM ALWAYS VERY OPEN TO ALL MUSIC, IN FACT I LOVE SHAINA TWAIN QUITE A BIT, AND THEY WERE PRE-TEENS WHEN SHE WAS ON TOP OF THE MUSIC WORLD, BUT DUE TO THE FACT THAT SHE WAS AN ICON, YOU'VE GOT TO GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE, SO I FIGURED THERE MUST BE SOMETHING TO HER, MY WIFE LOVES CHER, SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE HER TO A NICE CHER CONCERT, WELL I'LL TELL YOU WHAT, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ! I'M A FORMER NATIONAL TOURING GUITARIST AND ATTENDED MUSIC COLLEGE AND HER GUITARIST WAS LOUD AND PROUD, HE WAS GREAT ! BUT WHAT OF CHER ? I WILL INDEED REPEAT, FANTASTIC !
