Movie Review: Now I can see the fiddle player
Summary: 5 Stars
The DVD gets 5 stars cause now I can see the fiddle player! The CD is great to hear the music but the spirit of the live DVD is excellent. The celtic girls do a great job along with the many many people on stage. This is an impressive a production as I've seen since Sara Brightman...since I saw them on the Today show in March I've been looking forward to seeing this. Not disappointed.
Some people here seem to think you either have to be or not be into Celtic music to enjoy this or not...why not just enjoy it for really good songs and music? At least this stuff never gets boring!

I ALSO WATCHED THIS ON PBS AND CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT. I WENT TO AMAZON AND ORDERED BOTH THE CD AND DVD. I AM SENDING THE DVD TO MY MOTHER I KNOW SHE WILL LOVE IT. MY HUSBAND LIKE ROCK AND ROLL BUT HE LOVES LISTENING TO THESE GREAT VOCALIST. I THINK HE LIKES IT AS MUCH AS I DO. IF EVER I GET A CHANCE TO SEE THEM LIVE I WOULD LOVE TO GO. THEIR VOICES JUST FLOW LIKE THEY WERE MEANT TO GO TOGETHER. THANKS TO PBS FOR BRINGING THIS INTO OUR LIVES. WE MAY HAVE BAD DAYS SOMETIMES BUT WHEN WE GET HOME AND PUT THIS ON EITHER ON DVD OR OUR CD IT MAKES ANYTHING THAT HAPPENED DISSAPEAR.
Movie Review: Amazing....

That is the only real way I can describe this DVD. Musically it is excellent. It has some of my favorites in it like Ave Maria, May It Be (from Lord of the Rings), Orinoco Flow, Nella Fantasia, and You Raise Me Up (Made popular by Josh Groban). Visually the DVD is just as excellent. The colors are vivid and sharp and I am only running an S-Video connection. I can only imagine if I ran this DVD on component. Those who are looking into this DVD and have HDTV and 5.1 stereo sound you are in for a treat. Regardless of your age or music preference you would do well to get this DVD!!!Movie Review: My daughter's new favourite

Thanks to everyone involved in this show.....my 12-year old daughter used to listen to terrible rap and pop music, I don't even know the names of most of it, but she heard me and my husband playing this DVD and sat down to watch "for a second". An hour later she was still there and keeps wanting to hear more of these ladies before bed each night! And now she wants to be a singer as well!
Such a joy in today's world to find somehting so accessible by all the family. We are all going to try and see this group live if we can. She can't wait!!! Thanks.
Movie Review: totally cool

This DVD is great, no reservations. Well maybe I would like to hear some more faster music, but it doesn't really bother me. It's all very cool. Oh and more Irish pennywhistle please!!
Who cares if some of the singing doesnt match what you see, everybody knows these things are filmed over lots of concerts and put together - just about every other DVD I have is the same. This music is really fresh and original, I kept waiting for irish dancert to appear but they didn't...hurray!!!
Great stuff...any chance of another DVD mine is getting worn out?
