Movie Reviews of Caveman

Movie Review: Starring Ringo!
Summary: 5 Stars

For those who may be put off by the fact that this stars Ringo Starr, don't worry, the film is very funny!

There's only about 7 words of English spoken in the entire film, but you'll understand clearly what's going on and what's being said. (Who knows, you might even refer to 'it' as 'zug zug')

Ringo and Barbara fell in love on the set of this film, and got married soon after. A very young Dennis Quaid, and Shelly Long (remember her?) are also in it.

The plot is similar to 1000 years BC (with Raquel Welch), only this is very funny (intentionlly)

Movie Review: Just plain goofy fun!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have not seen this movie in a long time so I decided to order the DVD. To me this is just plain stupid fun! I enjoyed the dialogue throughout this movie. The real reason of why I ordered this was Ringo Starr. I have always been a Beatle fan but Ringo was the star of this movie and of course Barbara Bach! If you also remember growing up in the 1960's watching a series of Cracker Jack commercials you might remember Jack Gilford. He too did a splendid job as Gog! Caveman is good fun for everyone!

Movie Review: Best comedy I've seen
Summary: 5 Stars

This move is way above the average comedy. It is very well choreographed and very well acted. I respect Ringo as a musician and an actor. Ringo in his roll here is quite humorous in many parts. The movie is just good fun. It is the type of movie you can see again and again. It does have a morel to the story too. Invite your friends over for dinner (chickens good) one night then view Caveman you'll all have a great night to remember.

Movie Review: Wow
Summary: 5 Stars

Even though this movie has been made in 1981 and is 23 years old it never gets boring. So funny it is.

It tells the story of our 'ancestors' - the very first people and how they discovered food, fire, weapons etc. It goes back to the stone and ice age and it gives us the laughters no other comedy did. Ringo Starr's and Dennis Quaid's performance is stunning.

A must see movie! Don't underestimate just because it's old!
Have fun.

Movie Review: SO THIS IS HOW CIVILISATION REALLY STARTED?
Summary: 5 Stars

I remember seing this on video many years ago. Finally came out on DVD and I grabbed it. It's a classic. There are only about 3-4 words spoken in English. The rest is just a mixture of grunts and weird-sounding words, but the message gets across. See how fire was REALLY discovered. See how man REALLY started to walk upright. It's all tongue-in-cheek. It's all good.
