Movie Reviews of Caveman

Movie Review: What is zug-zug?
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie has many familiar faces that were just starting out at this time. Because there were not many words in pre-history there are more sight gags than one liners. Intriguingly many wore that "0ne Million B.C." fur bikini fashion.

I did not know that Shelley Long ...Tala (Outrageous Fortune) could talk until I saw Cheers. This is an educational movie; you get a glimpse of what life must have been with Macha the Tyrannosaurs Rex. And what happens in a near by ice age. There is a particularly well-done flagellant scene.

The story is as old as time its self. Atouck (Ringo Starr) alluna Lana (Barbara Bach). Lana alluna Tonda (John Matuszak). Tonda is large enough to kick sand in Atouck's face. Atouck was forced from the tribe. He must no travel the land and have many adventures. He meats people and creatures and Tala. You know he must return. Will he find a way to impress the status seeking Lana?

Everyone forgot to mention that there was only a hand full has made up words used in the whole movie. I originally saw this film at the movies and they handed out dictionaries.

One Million Years B.C. ~ Raquel Welch

Movie Review: CAVERNICOLAS DE LA RISA!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

Movie Review: A true collector's item
Summary: 5 Stars

OK we all love Raquel Welch in One Million Years BC. If you want another caveman movie with some sexy women and a few laughs to go with it, Caveman is for you. Ringo Starr I think pulls off his starring role pretty well.

He's the member of a tribe and is in love with a large breasted Cavewoman. Well it just happens to be the tribe leader's girl and he ends up getting banished. So he forms his own tribe of misfits. Together they discover fire, how to cook, make music, and escape ferocious dinosaurs by using marijuana plants.

For me the price of admission is Shelley Long. I'm a huge Cheers fan and always had a soft spot for her. Seeing her run around in a little fur outfit never gets old. You get some pretty high thigh shots, and even though Shelley doesn't have much on top, she's got some great legs.

So critics be damned. For a little fun watch Caveman.

Movie Review: Zillion Years Ago
Summary: 5 Stars

If you want to see what life was like One Zillion Years ago on October 9th, then this movie is for you.

We have Atouck (Ringo Starr) that is kicked out of his tribe for wanting Lana (Barbara Bach) who is the tribe chief's (John Matuszak) girl. He meets up with his old friend Lar (Dennis Quaid) and meets new ones to include Tala (Shelley Long) and they all learn the secrets of fire, the finer art of cooking, and how we learned to walk upright.

Most of the movie's dialog is nothing more than grunts and groans except for the Chinese guy, he speaks English, or course.

A wonderful and funny movie.

The DVD contains both the Widescreen and Standard version.

Movie Review: A Clasic Will Always Be A Clasic
Summary: 5 Stars

When I first saw this movie many years ago I just loved it. Today it will seem kinda silly but hey this movie is and always will be a classic in my collection. Too bad there are no special futures in this DVD and no special edition will likely come out.

Ringo and Dennis are great, and Shelly is surprisingly not annoying.

You will follow these cavemen all the way from learning how to walk erect, discover fire & drugs, ignore an english speaking Japanese and, one of my favorite moments in any movie, the discovery of music.

Thank god DVD technology came to save all time classics like this one.
