Movie Review: Enjoyable!
Summary: 4 Stars
I had originally seen Cat Ballou many years ago and got the biggest kick out of it! I found it highly amusing and the acting great. The second time around, I still found it amusing but, for some reason, not to the same degree. It could well be that I have become more sophisticated over the years in my viewing of movies - and that's probably the only reason for me giving Cat Ballou 4 stars. I saw this movie as a kid and mentioned it to my two teenagers once when they saw a picture of Lee Marvin and the drunken horse leaning against a building. They had never heard of the movie so I purchased it and we watched it as a family. Although it is a bit slow by today's standards the kids really enjoyed it and brought friends over to see it. I have not seen this in along time a good classic, one they don't show to often.
Lee Marvin, and Jane Fonda, still put on a good performance even though it's almost like a spaghetti western.
