Movie Reviews of Casino Royale [Blu-ray]

Movie Review: Best Bond
Summary: 5 Stars

I was afraid that Bond had gone the way of the old Tarzan franchise, which had its last great bow in 1960 (with the top-notch TARZAN THE MAGNIFICENT partially filmed in Africa) and then began its painful fade into bad movies and silly TV series that unsuccessfully tried to modernize or "re-envision" the character. And, when I first heard that Craig was to be the next Bond, I wondered what the powers that be were thinking. Was I ever wrong! Bond really is new and relevant again. Excellent transfer to Hi-def.

Movie Review: Bond looks amazing
Summary: 5 Stars

I picked up this movie today and was hooked the second i put it in. The movie is fast paced and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The new Bond does not let you down at all. The picture is amazing and it will have you looking on in awe at the action on the screen. Blue ray shows its guns well here as i did not notice and picture problems at all, if you want to show off your blue ray player this is a good movie to do so with at 1080i, and i'm sure it looks even better at 1080p.

Movie Review: Casino Royale MUST be viewed in Blu-Ray
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently watched the new Blu-Ray copy I purchased of "Casino Royale" - it blew me away. You MUST view it this way. The opening credit sequence with the playing card theme was unbelievable from a color and sharpness point of view. Bright bright reds and deep dark blacks that you do not normally see on standard DVD copies. The picture was so sharp and detailed that I had forgotten how good it looked the first time in the theatre.

Well worth the cost of going Blu-Ray!

Movie Review: One of the Best Bonds Ever
Summary: 5 Stars

Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Sean Connery. At first I was like but he doesn't look like a Bond. Well In the first five seconds I forgot all about that. He does a fantastic job playing the role. This is Bond's first mission and he plays the part perfectly. Bond loves, hates, and wants revenge. Something we have never seen Bond do, and i don't think anybody could have done it better. The story and everything about this movie is great. Stop reading this and go watch it.

Movie Review: Daniel Craig is the Best James Bond since George Lazenby
Summary: 5 Stars

CASINO ROYALE is the best James Bond film since ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE. ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE was the last film that was truly based on Ian Fleming's novel. Now comes CASINO ROYALE. This is an outstanding adaptation of Ian Fleming's book. Daniel Craig returns Bond to the no nonsense character that we last saw in ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE. CASINO ROYALE along with ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE and DR. NO are the best Bond films of the series.
