Movie Review: Awesome!
Summary: 5 Stars
I first saw this remake of "Carrie" on channel 10 TV, and I loved it. Angela Bettis is outstanding as Carrie White and gives a great performance. The whole movie is awesome, and very scary. I also have seen the original "Carrie" with Sissy Spacek, but in my opinion, I think this version of Carrie is better than the original, and is more faithful to the book. If you're a Stephen King fan or a horror movie fan, I highly recommend this movie. I also wish this was realeased in the movies :)Movie Review: CARRIE FOR THIS GENERATION!!!!

SHE BRINGS HER OWN UNIQUE STYLE TO THIS ROLE.
AS WELL AS A SIMILAR PLOT TO THE ORIGINAL, THIS FILM BRINGS US MORE DESTRUCTION EFFECTS IN "THE PROM" SCENE.
HOWEVER, IF YOU LIKE THE ORIGINAL FILM, SEE THIS VERSION, BECAUSE ANGELA BETTIS TAKES THIS ROLE TO THE EXTREME!!

Movie Review: For Those Who THought THE ENDING WAS BAD - here's why it was what it was

For those who don't like how they changed the ending, the ending was changed because they were planning on making "Carrie" into a series if the made-for-TV-remake was successful - which it wasn't, hence the reason the idea was scraped. So that's why the ending is what the ending is.
And if you enjoyed Angela Bettis is this movie you must watch "May" - same character, better movie.

I am an avid film critic and I've read every Stephen King book. I loved DePalma's vision for the first "Carrie" and loved Sissy Spacek's performance. This movie, in my opinion was more in the spirit of the book and is actually superior in every way.Movie Review: Carrie,tv version

It was very good.It starts in the interrigation room of the Police station,the police are talking to the teenagers about the night of the prom,and giving them donuts.It was Chris that pulled the pig's bood,not Sue Snell.In this version,anyway.
