Movie Review: A touching story worth seeing again and again

I was truly pleased with this touching movie about a funny, intelligent young girl, and her hilarious and "tell it like it is" grandma. Tons of laughs and a few tears, this movie has it all. The writing in this movie was really original, a breath of fresh air, and was definitely worth seeing again and again. It was such an honest, heartwarming, and lovely movie. A perfect cast. Shirley MacLaine puts grand in "grandma". It was so interesting to see how the child actress who played the young Carolina (Ambyr Childers) resembled the grown-up Carolina (Julia Stiles). We highly recommend the movie, "Carolina" and much praise to the writer, Katherine Fugate.

I have read others reviews and don't understand why we can't see the movie before we watch the DVD? I still would like to purchase the DVD,Barbra Eden is great in everyway,as a actor and a person.I rated it 5 stars because I know it's great already! Katherine Fugate has really out done herself in the writing of this movie. The characters she has created are very unique and unforgetable. Julia Stiles was perfect for her character Carolina. Wish this would have gotten more reviews...really enjoyed watching this. Makes you realize all of us grow up so different from one another. I really liked all the actors in this...and I usually do enjoy anything that Julia Stiles is in.
If you get the chance to see this you will be glad you did.
