Movie Reviews of CandymanMovie Review: 0 STARS: THAT WAS SO LAME! LMFAO THAT WAS SO LAME!! Summary: 1 StarsI will not give "Candyman 3: Day of the Dead" a serious analysis because it is so stupid and to be frank, is not even worthy of a review other than to say that this TRASH sucks just like the rest of the series, but also, this movie goes above beyond being horrible and is the epitome of the word "lame". THIS MOVIE "F"ing SUCKS!!! Please pardon me for my language, but after watching this movie, I am sure you can understand my distress after wasting my time on this complete and utter rubbish.
Movie Review: hugely disappointing.... Summary: 1 StarsThis movie is just the same as the others but just with a different skin, there is no horror in this film at all, it's more comedy than horror, it is just the same cheap bull as the second one (wich also stinks) and why does he open his jacket when we already know what he has under there.
This movie is stupid do not waste you time/money on it, but still buy it if you really must, but don't say no one warned you.
Movie Review: Quite OK Summary: 2 StarsThis movie is kinda.....corny. It is that Black slave thing, and take on the revenge being a "candyman" or "batman" or "spiderman" or "Boggieman" or whatever man you want to be~! LOL
Movie Review: One of the most underrated horror movies Summary: 4 StarsOk, The first time I saw this movie I thought it was OK. The second I liked everything but the last scene. Now I like everything about the movie. Its actually the kind of horror movie I like. The kind of horror movie that messes with your brain and not you're stomach content. (You know what I mean.)
This movie did that.
What I loved most about the movie was the strange sort of romance that Candyman and Helen were having. It was chilling, beautiful, scary, and hypnotizing all at once.
I really do think this is one of the most underrated horror movies out there. Not to mention Virginia Maddeson is one of the most underrated acresses.
Movie Review: THEY TRIED I GUESS Summary: 2 Stars The saga of the candyman continues in this third installment of the hit series. I can remember the first time I watched the original created by Clive Barker, I luv'd it, the same can't be said for this film. Caroline is last living descendent of the candyman, and he wants to end it all by ending her. All who watch this film and the acting of Donna D' Errico will wish for the same thing. One would only think that she got the job to secure watchers of Baywatch for the film and for that reason only, or maybe it's because a little fragile thing like her can't take on candyman head on. Get a real actress like KATHY BATES in there and she'll kick his ass {MISERY is a classic}.
As far as Tony Todd is concerned he does a good job in this film, but not as scary as he has been in the other films. He does a good job none the less, and serves as a co-producer. As far as the script goes it's a decent attempt at the franchise, Al Septien & director Turi Meyer do what they can. But that doesn't save the film from being less then average. Side performances from the art gallery owner, the two bad cops, and the gypsy women are great and save the film a little.
There isn't much to the story, Caroline is his last descendent and he wants to stop his pain by taking her. People she knows gets killed so it looks like she did it, and she tries to stop him, that's it nothing more to it. Over all a more worthy sequel of its predecessors would be more enjoyable.
