Movie Review: Extremely Underrated

Candyman is one that deserves to be ranked right up there with the horror classics. I honestly think that this movie is one of the most underrated films ever. Being a horror fan, I felt compelled to watch Candyman. I thought it would be terrible but I have never been more wrong about a movie. It goes above and beyond your regular slasher film. Candyman throws in some psychological twists that you will be sure to appreciate. Definitely check this out, whether you're a slasher fan or not! listen, i'm a horror movie ADDICT, and i've seen the good and the bad and the ugly, and NOTHING has ever scared me as much as this one. i saw it in the movie theater, i was 13-14, and i didnt look in a mirror for months. As an adult i can appreciate it as a touching love story, a creepy ghost story, an excellent cinematographic adaptation of a mediocre short story, and a subtle exploration of race and Otherness and monstrosity and the legacies of slavery in American culture. This by far has to be the scariest horror movie of all times. As a child i have to say the Friday the 13th movies were scary, along wit Mike Myers, Chucky, Freddy, and the rest but this movie goes beyond all that. I think if u want to see a good horror movie on a Friday night then this is the one. You will definitely be scared. Candyman is a untique boogeymen and the story is great and all i have to say is to not go to a mirror and say his name five times..... Candyman is about a mythical guy that was ridcule by a bunch of towns people and they pour honey all over him and watch him get stung to death by bees.... The reason why the towns people did this was he fell in love with a woman.... The candyman is a great horror flick and its great to watch over and over again!!!!!!!Movie Review: Great film better with 5.1 sound

This is a great film, i rented the special edition out a few weeks ago and watched it with my girlfriend, this film was great.
With 5.1 sound you could hear candyman's voice like he was actually in the room with you, it's very good, the acting is good, the settings and scenes are good, the story is good, the horror is good, this film really does deserve a 5 star rating.
