Movie Review: One Of The Best Musicals

I was one of the lucky ones to watch this musical when it first came to the drive-in back in the early 60's. It was excellent then, and buying this movie recently and watching it again, really brought back old memories. Bye Bye Birdie is one of the best musicals i've seen and all the songs are great as well.Movie Review: enjoyable

As had already viewed this dvd many years ago was happy that could get it again as love musicals and many of the old films good to see again. Why do they make a DVD with cover art that does not even appear in the film? Also Ann Margrets final shot in the end is cut off! This was a great musical of the 60's with great performances and songs and the current packaging makes it look like a B film! cOLUMBIA PICTURES, get it together!Movie Review: It's always nice to say hello to Bye Bye Birdie!

One of the best movie musicals around! Dick Van Dyke, Bobby Rydell, Janet Leigh and Ann Margret are top notch in this family musical from the 1960's. Going back to yester-year when Musicals appeared to have been bank-rolled fairly heavy, ...this movie is full of innocense and good dancing from that time.
