Movie Review: ENJOYED A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE

THIS MOVIE WAS A "BLAST FROM THE PAST" FOR MY SISTER AND I. WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT WE SAT IN THE THEATRE AND WATCHED IT OVER & OVER & OVER. BACK THEN YOU COULD DO THAT. MOVIES WERE 50c, YOU GOT 2 SHOWS, CARTOONS AND SOMETIMES A GIVEAWAY. AFTER 6PM KIDS WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE BUT WE SNUCK DOWN TO THE FRONT ROW AND CROUCHED DOWN IN THE SEATS TO WATCH IT AGAIN. MY OLDER SISTER CREATED A SCENE BY MAKING THE USHER SEARCH THE ENTIRE THEATRE FOR US AND WE GOT A SMACK IN THE HEAD FOR OUR EFFORTS. I STILL REMEMBER ALL THE WORDS TO THE SONGS AND IT'S STILL FUNNY TO ME AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.Movie Review: More exciting than the EDDIE SULLIVAN SHOW!

This fun, upbeat family musical comedy was kind of the "Grease" of the pre-Beatles 60's! Some of the outfits that the cast wore were advertised in SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE, which was just about a teen Bible back then. Bobby Rydell was one of the boys introduced to us by Dick Clark on American Bandstand. And, if you're old enough to understand the pop-culture power of these teen icons, you absolutely MUST own a copy of Bye Bye Birdie! I love this play,& movie (all versions). I have watched 3 different versions of this excellent play. As a play that was acted out at my college auditorium. I have also watch this one with Dick Van Dyke, and the version where Vanessa Williams plays "Rose". I love this!!!!! Its like one of the best musicals, and with the right actors playing it, the funny parts are easily remembered and understood.Movie Review: A Great Classic...

My mother introduced me to this movie when I was thirteen and I have been a fan of classic movies eversince and today I am twenty three. This movie is fun and the music is great, also is very funny. I love the fashions on the women and the story is well put together...I definitely recommend this film.
