Movie Review: spectacular

I saw this on PBS before I bought it so I new what to expect, the costumes are fun where called for and beautiful or imaginitive where they should be, the dancing varies from Ballroom to Modern to interpritive Jazz, and is performed in spectacular style, it is hard to reconcile some of the negative reviews with what I see on this DVD, however if you are expecting Ballroom dancing as you would see it on PBS, or the Ballroom competicions on cable channels, you will be disapointed, if you like spectacular Theater you will love it.Movie Review: Brilliant

I have the DVD for almost 3 years and watch it repeatly until I lost count. Love it! This is such a joy, entertain, educate and inspiration. I am not saying that I am going to get dancing lesson but I learnt 3 things from "Burn the Floor", dedicate, teamwork and think outside the box. I love the quote that the Producer mentioned in the making of about the dancer that eventhough they were so tried but still work harder to make the dance perfect. I'm a fan of ballroom dancing, and I bought this DVD because, well, it's about ballroom dancing!!! All the performances are really fun, there is no question about the dancers' skills, the choreography, their costumes, and the stage setup. My favorite part of the show is the Finale (Hot), oh my, the whole arrangement is wonderful!!! There really is no sufficient word to describe the show, but if you like ballroom and latin, I would recommend buying this one.Movie Review: Forget Dancing WIth The Stars!!!

THis is much sexier. I had the VHS tape and was so happy when it finally came out on DVD. This gives the background information about the dancers and how they came to be on Burn The Floor. It also lets the dancers talk about dancing and costumes and how they tried to merge their various styles of dancing. If you aren't wanting to stamp your own feet and swing with the dancers by the end of the DVD, you must be dead.Movie Review: yeeeeow

What a fantastic spectacular show! Watch the featurette first! I saw the ads for the live show, and when pre-ordering another title, I noticed this one was coming out too, so I bought it on impulse. It not only makes you want to take a few dance lessons, but also to get down and dirty with your honey. Very steamy! As one person said in the short documentary, its a good replacement for Viagra!
