Movie Review: Off beat but I loved it......

I didn't know what to expect when I went to the theater and for the first 10 minutes or so I thought that the movie was going to be a loser. But then the zany off beat characters and unexpected laughs took over. I loved this movie and have bought the DVD and watched it several times at home.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt are terrific and Frances McDormand and John Malkovich are good as well.

just wanted to point out that every single complaint that the one-star reviews dole out are just icing on the cake as far as me totally loving this movie. The characters had no depth? The plot was too amorphous? THAT WAS THE POINT FOLKS. The characters are examples of typical character flaws that are variations on stupidity. You're supposed to enjoy their lives falling apart. I received the DVD in excellent condition and watched it while riding my triathlon bike inside on the trainer. Originally I purchased this movie because a housekeeping employee at the gym I personal train at said I remind him of Brad Pitt in this movie and so I wanted to check it out. Good cast and interesting plot with one twist I wasn't expecting. I would recommend this movie to other people.Movie Review: Don't Burn after Viewing

This is one of the best Coen brothers releases to date. The dark comedic pairing of Clooney and Pitt, the ironic absurdity of the story line with twists and turns.... it's all memorable and classic Coen. This is one you want to see more than once,to catch all of the nuances that you may miss as you're rolling in the aisles during particular scenes. First off i want to say that i completely understand why people did not like this movie. The reason is the ending and i don't want to give anything away but many people thought that it was disappointing. I actually found the ending to this movie to be absolutely hilarious, but i guess you need to have that sense of humor. I really enjoyed the movie so how about them apples?
