Movie Review: Bullitt: Where the Car Chase was Created!
Summary: 5 Stars

Bullitt, is a movie that was released in 68, its a detective story, where Det. Frank Bullitt is looking for the murderers of a witness. Although the movie has its good moments of sleuthing and grittiness what makes this movie is its 7 min. car chase. What makes this car chase the ultimate car chase is that Steve McQueen is the actual driver of the 1968 Mustang from start of the chase to end of it. All through out the chase the cars are driving at actual speeds through San Francisco, unlike many movies since even today where they simply speed the film up to give the illusion of driving fast. Again this is a solid detective movie but what sells this movie is that chase!!

Movie Review: Sweet film, Good Transfer
Summary: 5 Stars

I've always been a fan of Steve Mcqueen, him and Paul newman when i was growing up. I'm 23 now and i couldnt be happier that they put this film out on HD DVD. Its not the greatest transfer but for it being as old as it is, its pretty freakin sweet man. I also purchased the Getaway too and that was pretty cool stuff as well. Anyway if you love this film and Steve Mcqueen buy this movie on HD.

I watched this in the theater when it came out many years ago. I had forgotten much of the story but not the car chase... Glad to have the high def added to my collection.

This movie is not only a classic but its the best. Just as good as the first time we saw it, car chase still will get you to the edge of your seat. Awesome movie.
