Movie Review: F Word Crazy

Ok, call me a prude. I'm sure someone will. But I spent 15 years in the US Navy so that label ain't gonna stick. It just seemed like you couldn't go 2 minutes without somebody proving they knew how to say the word over and over and over. There is no way you would ever want to watch this movie in mixed company, IMHO. Watch the TV version. They sanitize it. Ok, about the movie itself, getting past the gratuitous language, it's not half bad. Other people will give a synopsis of the movie which I won't bother repeating. Petty crook Sandler becomes good buddies with (unknown to him) undercover cop Wayans who has to betray the friendship and bust Sandler. Sandler accidentally shoots him (in the head ... ouch!) but he recovers. They both wind up on the run and reestablish the trust and friendship and Sandler gives up his life of crime. So in the end, the movie is about that: trust and friendship. And for that it gets some stars in the ratings category. It has its funny moments and it has some good action and chase scenes. It would have been a pretty good movie by anyone's standards if they had just left out the needless language. And so I say, watch the TV version, don't buy the DVD. Just my opinion.
