'Bug' will not appeal to everyone, but for those of you who like intense and brave acting mixed with interesting, but disturbing images, will find this film a GEM! Ashley Judd gives the performance of a lifetime in this sad and sick tale of loneliness and paranoia. This one's not for the squeamish with lots of blood and self mutilation so beware! if you like films such as OPEN WATER and HARD CANDY and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN as well as smart hardcore horror films , this is probably for you . i'm certain actors relish roles like these . if the above sort of picture is not your cup of tea , you're probably going to dislike this film quite a bit i'd think . some people like much of their film veiwing to really challenge and shock them . count me in .Movie Review: It'll get under your skin.

I first caught this movie on Fear.net on demand. The synopsis of the movie did not prepare me for the mental roller coaster ride I was about to take. I won't reveal the plot - suffice it to say, it's a mentally twisted story with outstanding acting, especially by Judd. A must see for the horror fan that wants more than just blood & guts. Disturbing is all I can say. I watched the movie three days ago and I can't stop thinking about it. I'm a huge Ashley Judd fan and this film has to be her best performance (so far). I've only seen a few movies that I would give five stars to but this one deserves them. This is an awesome flick that shows how two empty souls seep deep into madness. I dont understand the bad reviews for this flick, it's actually very good, the acting is superb, taking account that the acting is done entirely in a motel room, now isn't that movie going at it's finest? watch it and find your own conclusions, if you ask me, it's greeeeaaattt!!
