Movie Review: Excellent Time With Bruce Hornsby in NYC
Summary: 5 Stars
Bruce Hornsby and his band perform in three very different venues in the Big Apple and this is a behind-the-scenes look at each performance. It's great to see them as they get ready to play - not just the shows themselves. This gives alot of insight into what makes Bruce tick and his attention to every little detail. Finally a Bruce DVD with great sound quality, and good material. The 40 or so minute documentary covers a few interesting things about their tour, and the show itself is a gem. Fortunate Son -> Comfortably Numb is incredible, but joins many other great Hornsby tracks for a nice compilation of some of his better stuff. Highly recommended. BRUUUUCE!Movie Review: Fantastic

This is probably the best DVD Bruce has put out to date. I'd still love to see a few different songs performed live, but every fan wants something different. Three very different concerts and the documentary make for some interesting viewing (and listening), especially if you're into more than just recreational listening.Movie Review: Wonderful !!

If you love Bruce Hornsby, this is a must have show, what a great artist with wonderful musicians. sound is excellent (5.1 dolby digital).
i watched this show many times and enjoy it each time.

Bruce Hornsby is known for jammin' to the beat of his own drum and this is a prime example. He surrounds himself with top notch musicians and it makes for an awesome musical experience. The musical freedom that is very evident in his music is refreshing. A great performance!
