Movie Reviews of Brother Bear 2Movie Review: so great of a sequel! it should of went to theaters!! Summary: 5 Stars
wow this is one of disneys best direct-to-dvd sequels! love the songs by melissa etheridge!! i actually watch the credits roll at the end of the movie so i can listen to the songs. and i also watched this movie wearing my chroma-depth 3d glasses, which made the whole movie 3d!! i dont understand why this movie didnt go to theaters? it was that good. it had all elements to make you laugh, cry, and smile! i watch this movie over and over! most of disneys sequels suck, but brother bear 2 was wonderful!! some other favorite disney sequels of mine are...lion king 2, lion king 1 and a half, 101 dalmations 2: patchs london adventure, bambi 2, lady and the tramp 2. give those a try also! i do not recommend watching any of the princess sequels like cinderella 2 and 3 or aladdin sequels, fox and the hound 2...huge dissapointment!! stray away from those, you will only waste your time.
Movie Review: Beauty, Eh? Summary: 5 Stars
Brother Bear 2 is a sequel to the popular 2003 Disney animated adventure Brother Bear starring the voice talents of Patrick Dempsey, Mandy Moore and Jeremy Suarez. In the sequel, Kenai(Dempsey) is adjusting life as a bear and having fun adventures with his little brother bear Koda(Suarez), when Kenai is reunited with his old sweetheart Nita(Moore), they go on a long, ardous journey to be together forever. Wanda Sykes is hilarious as the sassy but wise sha-woman Innoko, and Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas were a laugh-riot as the moose brothers Rutt and Tuke, and fellow SCTV-alumns Catherine O'Hara and Andrea Martin also appears as the charming moose-ettes. The music soundtrack featuring songs by Melissa Etheridge was a treat and enjoyable to sing-along to. Brother Bear 2 is perfect for any Disney DVD collection.
Movie Review: Once you love someone...They stay in your heart forever! Summary: 5 Stars
I had the opportunity to go to an advance screening of this film and for those who may be skeptical about the quality of sequels to modern animated works, it is hoped that you will give this feature a try. Quality children's programming is rare and this effort tries to impart messages that focus upon the power of friendship and that real strength and beauty comes from within. If you enjoyed the first film, the returning characters of Kenai and Koda are still as engaging and the moose, Rutt and Tuke, effortlessly steal every scene they are in. The new character additions also add great levity to this unique family treat!
Movie Review: A great sequel which follows up a nice movie Summary: 5 Stars
Most of the reviews have already gone thru the movie's story, so I won't go there again. Just wanted to say that this was a very nice movie, which continues the story of "Brother Bear" in a great way. Not only Melissa Etheridge's songs are nice, but the score for the whole movie is truly enjoyable. All the original characters are back to interact in this story so you won't miss any of them.
After watching this movie, my only question is: why did Disney decided to screen "The wild" in theatres, when they had an excellent movie here which they decided to release in a "straight to DVD" version?
Movie Review: Thoroughly enjoyable! Summary: 5 Stars
Brother Bear 2 is a wonderfully animated movie. Having not seen the original Brother Bear, I had no expectations. The movie centers on friendship and how it perseveres through anything-a wonderful theme throughout the entire movie. The scenery is nicely done too. The moose are hilarious as they try to get dates with the female moose - too funny!
My 3 year old daughter and I have watched it twice already and I only purchased it yesterday! We both love the music.
Kudos to the screenplay writer, Rich Burns.
