Movie Reviews of Broken ArrowMovie Review: Broken Arrow - James Stewart Summary: 5 Stars
James Stewart and Jeff Chandler have fine performances in thie 1958 Western. Good portrayal of the American Indians. This production was nominated for three Academy Awards, "damn good western" with plenty of action. Good performance by Debra Paget who plays the part of an American Indian woman. This is a Ten (10) excellent.
Movie Review: Plesed Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of those movies that really never get old. Filmed in Sedona, AZ you won't find a more beautiful location to bring the west alive. Jimmy was great as usual. Maybe the western is not in vogue anymore, still this movie actually holds up very well. The cast is wonderful and as I mentioned the scenery superb.
Movie Review: A Real Western/Native American Story. Summary: 5 Stars
A great film based on one of the most researched novels of its day. The original book was called *Blood Brother* by Elliot Arnold. Highly accurate, it gave insight into the real lives of the Chiricahua Apache and their leader, Cochise. A must see and read for any lover of western or American Indian history.
Movie Review: JAMES STEWART!!! (Capitals intended). Summary: 5 Stars
A SUPER STAR in the true sense of the word, not today's watered down version where "mediocrity/imbecility" is the new genius ...far too often anyway; DEBRA PAGET; a stellar cast!! All that in a great western! What more can a guy want?
One final comment: MORE!!! Please!
Movie Review: broken arrow Summary: 5 Stars
The acting in this movie is great. It tells a story of whites and idians and how they could get along. It is also a love story. James Stewat and Jeff Chandler are what really makes this movie. If you like classic westerns this is one that I think you will enjoy.
