Movie Reviews of Breakheart PassMovie Review: Charles Bronson fan Summary: 5 Stars
I just love this movie. Its an older western with a great hero. The heroes are Charles Bronson a detective, and his lovely wife Jill Ireland portraying the innocent woman who has to be protected. The music is a rousing western classical piece. Definitly a must see, if you like the old westerns. This is in color. The characters are believable. Great for the western fans of Louis Lamour and Zane Grey. The author of the book is Alistair MacLean. Just seeing Charles Bronson riding his horse is pure talent and hard work. He is a gifted horseman. We miss you both. Charles and Jill.
Movie Review: Charles Bronson & Alistair MacLean strike again Summary: 5 Stars
Easily one of Charles Bronson's finest roles, similiar to the great roles he has performed in other films such as The Evil That Men Do,Death Wish,The White Buffalo. This Movie is done in MacLean's fast paced inimitable style, where nothing & nobody is who they seem, such as in MacLean's other outing,Where Eagles Dare.Bronson was more
of the B-list actor in a lot of films he was the lead in;however, there were other films where he shined and "Breakheart Pass" is definitely one of those films.A high adventure film that is a must-see.
Movie Review: a solid western mystery with bronson in top form Summary: 5 Stars
this is one of those movies that i came to love in the 70's,a great score, well written, acted, and directed.
bronson is a small time crook who is caught and put aboard a train going through the rocky's to take help to a fort that is being hit with a plague. but all isn't as it seems and bronson is going to find out what is going on. the mood of the movie is great and the passager's start to die and disapear one by one.
one of bronson's better movies and a fun western adventure. check it out.
Movie Review: A Mystery/Western well done Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is more a mystery/ whodunit that happens to have a western backdrop. Bronson is excellent in the lead as a mysterious petty criminal and the whole cast is well chosen. Not as much action as some other Bronson flicks as the mystery is the priority. 4.5 Stars.
Movie Review: Great story, action, and beautiful location scenery Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a Bronson fan, and this is definitely one of my favorites. A very fine ensemble cast, great story line, and, as mentioned in my title, the scenery is definitely breathtaking. Highly recommended western.
