Movie Review: MAYBE THE BEST EVER

I absolutely love this movie, and reccomend it to anyone. It is a stunning depiction of of how we live. I'm from Watts, CA, very close to Long Beach, where this movie was based, and have been there many a time. About ten years ago, when this film was made, I was 14, I remember crying during this movie because the same types of things were happening all around me. I was tough, and I wasn't in a gang, just like the kids in this movie, they weren't in a gang, they were just friends. I hate the people that say this was a gang movie, this wasn't a gang movie, this was a good movie!Movie Review: Boyz 'N the Hood

This isn't just a "ghetto movie" as some might claim. This is a true piece of movie history that everyone should be forced to see at least once. You are sucked into the movie by watching these kids growing up with each other, learning right from wrong, but before you know it they are adults and things get complicated. The Five Stairsteps soul classic "Ooh Child" compliments this movie perfectly for a realistic, gritty, and moving portrayal of life in the slums. A well deserved 10/10.Movie Review: "RICKEY!!!!"

WOW what a great movie I watched this for the first time in 1994 when i was younger but my father only limited me to the part where doe boy was taken away in the police car. Once I was old enough to see the full movie I was hooked. Laurence Fishburn and Cuba Gooding were very good I think as a black man the movie was on point but you have to listen to Laurence's character because he makes perfect sense. The movie has violence, sex, drama, and its a real life experience.Movie Review: Perhaps the best "hood" movie ever made

This movie(at the time), was the best example of south-cantral L.A. It tells a great story of three boys in the hood who suffer tragic outcomes throughout the story... Well this is a masterpiece people should have, by now, checked out. The sad thing is, John Silvingston couldn't cum up with any other movie that could match this, unless it was Higher Learning, a good movie, nah.Movie Review: Boyd N the Hood

Boyz N in the Hood is one of my favorite all time movies, when I saw how
cheap the price is on Amazon I ordered it. John Singleton did a wonderful
job with this movie. I love all the actors and actresses in the movie,
they were so believable playing their parts. Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Ice
Cube really delivered. I would highly recommend this movie!!!
