Movie Review: As good as ever, but where's the BluRay and great sound version?
Summary: 4 Stars
Words can't describe how much this movie meant to me as a kid...and now as an adult. It shows a young person's movie can be a glorious experience without sexual inuendos, sarcastic characters, and sexy clothes.
This movie is so good, it cries out for a better film to video transfer. This verion has poor sound quality, lacks BluRay resolution, is full of dust specks, and has frequent splice bumps (shaking when going from one scene to the next). What a pity. It deserves better. A few "DVD Extras" would also be great.
This movie has some of the best music and photography ever (with the exception of the "day for night scenes", when the sky just happens to be bight blue in the middle of the night).
Here's hoping that the studio re-releases this film in BluRay with the high quality picture and sound transfer that it deserves! I'll be the first in line to buy it!
Movie Review: BORN FREE
Summary: 4 Stars
I saw this as a child. I liked the movie then and I like it now. I have learned so much of the history of the story and the actors and the real George and Joy Adamson. The continued story including Christian the lion. This story has impacted 6 people deeply. I have been humming the theme song all month. Get this movie and introduce it to another generation of young people. Enjoyable

I had not seen this movie for many years, so watching it now it seemed a little bit dated. It still holds your attention and carries a timeless message. Have not received the DVD yet. DVD Legacy SUCKS. It's been a month since I ordered the video. I'm ordering from Barnes & Noble next or Borders. I want my money back.
