Movie Reviews of Bolt (Single-Disc Edition)

Movie Review: Don't miss this bee-awesome movie!
Summary: 5 Stars

This was such a great film. The visuals are stunning and you can tell the animators actually cared (no thrown together film for these guys!). It's funny - really funny. I think Rhino stole the show myself though :)

Yes, it's about a dog and it's a feel good family movie. Ho hum, Ho hum, right? Not quite. It's a little bit more than that, I thought. A stand-out film to be sure. My kids loved it and so did the adults. I think this might be the most surprising film I saw last year as I kind of flinched at yet another dog movie that my daughter wanted to see, but this was amazingly well done.

A must-see :)

Movie Review: A great movie !
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this movie for my 8 year old daughter. She loved it and so did our whole family. It was very funny and heartwarming. Even my father-in-law who usually doesn't enjoy animated movies said it was the best movie he had watched in a long time. The soundtrack was great too."I Thought I Lost You" is a wonderful duet by the movie's stars Miley Cyrus and John Travolta. It's emotional lyrics lift you up and touch your heart and make you want to hear it over and over.I recommend this movie to anyone with or without young children who want to see a great "feel good" movie.

Movie Review: Bolt is FUN!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have to admit I'm a HUGE Disney fan and have been so disappointed with their theatrical releases such as Return to Neverland and "The Tigger Movie" that I stopped going to see them in theaters and instead have been waiting for DVD releases. Now that I've seen Bolt and how much fun it is (coupled with "Meet the Robinsons") I'm seriously debating my stance and may take a risk and see them in theaters again.

Bolt is charming, but RHINO really makes this "Totally Awesome". He's only used sparingly, but he makes me laugh every time he's on screen.

Movie Review: Great movie for the whole family!
Summary: 5 Stars

I absolutely loved this film. My husband and I took our two kids (ages 5 and 3) to see it in the theater. Our kids are usually very sensitive and do not like movies with anything "scary" in them (Lion King, Incredibles, Aladdin -- not popular in our house). Our kids LOVED this movie and immediately started begging to see it again. There is nothing scary at all in this movie. The fire scene might be a little tense but there are no monsters or death or anything like that. I recommend it for all ages.

Movie Review: The only dog I'd have
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is so cute! I had seen it on Encore and then I saw it again, then I saw it one more time. So, I bought it. I think when the cat is teaching the dog to beg is a riot! The escape from the animal shelter is pretty funny, too. The art work is fabulous! The pigeons act just like pigeons and have iridescent feathers on their necks--it is so realistic!
I love the music, too. Anyone would love this movie. I think it is going to make good gifts for Christmas.
