Wow, some of the reviews are long-winded, huh? Humphrey Bogart has been called the greatest screen actor in history and this collection won't dull that image. With stories from Chandler and Hemingway, a screenplay from William Faulkner, direction from John Huston and Howard Hawks and great portrayals from Bogart and Lauren Bacall, you get some of the best films of the 40's. You just can't go wrong and buying the box set saves time and money that you might have spent finding these gems as single releases.
