Movie Review: This DVD makes it obvious what all the Darin fuss is about

He is simply the best performer I've ever seen and this final episode of his TV series shows his greatness and versatility: his musical range (up-tempos, r&b, rock, ballads, folk, country,...), mastery of multiple instruments including piano, guitar and harmonica; considerable skills as an impressionist and comic; astounding physical grace and dancing ability (in spite of a fatally damaged heart), and his repoire with the audience. He got a standing ovation from the audience; you'll see why.Movie Review: Bobby Whups It Up!

For a music disc this has lot of extras! I was impressed to see so much go into another concert video. This by no means is "another" concert DVD. The menus are stunning, the animation is great, and I can't stop watching it. I am really impressed with the menu interactivity and navigation. I've got nothing bad to say other than I would like to see more. Bobby Darin would be great for any retro freaks, as well as the established fans. I've never written a report before. I kinda liked Bobby Darin, but was not too sure about his styles etc... I bought this on a gamble and it PAID OFF!!! the guy was brilliant, versatile and very very talented with many many styles to his performance.I would have loved to have seen him "live"
The quality is not the best but it is not the worse either 6/10 I would give it which did not spoil my entertainment from a GREAT performer. BUY IT !!!

This is an extraordinary LIVE view of Bobby Darin's musical versatility and showmanship that audio cd and studio recordings barely hint at. Darin, less than a year before his death, live in concert, with more sheer energy than you would expect from a performer half his age without a heart ailment. I really liked this DVD.I just order this DVD again. Yesterday as I was trying to get the DVD out of the DVD holder I broke the DVD.His performance was awesome and his comedy was great.He tells the story of these two songwriters trying to get him to record one of thier songs and he passes on them a few times.Some big hits he passed on.What a talented human being.
