Movie Review: great flashback
Summary: 5 Stars
If you grew up with Bob and Doug, this is a must have. I didn't really get into the rest of SCTV, but these guys are hilarious. This disc has lots of their sketches from the early 80s, as well as new ones. You will also learn everything there is to know about these guys and the hosermania they created in the 80s. A number of current celebrities that were influenced by Bob and Doug are interviewed. A great tribute and trip down memory lane. Still funny after all these years.

What started out as a parody of a CBC request for Canadian Content, the McKenzie Brothers hit television in 1980 and went on to make a platinum-selling album, a cult movie, dozens of commercials, action figures, appear in editorial cartoons and become enduring icons in Canadian culture. In 2007, the McKenzie Brothers reunited for the first time in 10 years with new footage on the Great White North set and were joined by some of their celebrity friends. Also included are Bob and Doug's first appearances on Saturday Night Live, the Junos and the Hoser Parade in Toronto along with rare never-before-seen footage of the McKenzie Brothers.Similar DVD Movies
