Movie Review: Young Elvis is HOT!

My girlfriends and I had a daiquiri party and watched this and man, is he goooooooodlookin'! It's definitely a fluffy kind of film, but hey, it's ELVIS! I kind of like it in juxtaposition to Lilo and Stitch, frankly. The eye candy and singing are alllllll well worth the bother, if you're an Elvis fan. If you're not an Elvis fan, you're probably a heterosexual male under age 45. His voice is so smooth and amazing and his body is, as well! I recommend this for a gal pal party. He's just so hubbahubba good lookin' and he marries the girl in the end!Movie Review: Elvis does it Again

I've watched many Elvis films, and this is by far my favorite. Elvis' character, Chad Gates, does not want to work for his father's pineapple business, and opts instead to become a tourguide for a schoolteacher and four teenage girls. The story is well thought out, and the songs are a lot of fun. Not only is this Elvis' best film, it is also the one that began Elvis' formula, to which all of his future movies would follow. Basically, that's Elvis surrounded by a bunch of beautiful women having a hell of a time. So much for Elvis being a serious actor. This is THE Best Elvis musical Movie of all-time. I just loved this movie. I saw it 27 times in the cinemas in the 60s. So happy it is on DVD at last. The colorful scenery, lavish musical settings and Elvis looking great and wonderful in his hawaiian shirt with flower lei. And JOAN BLACKMAN is a real beauty too! Wow, got to see this on DVD again and again.
