Movie Reviews of Blast From the PastMovie Review: Comedy At It's Best Summary: 5 Stars
This movie is the best romantic comedy ever made by far. The script is excellent and that is elevated by it's all star cast including Brenden Fraser, Alica Silverstone, all time veterens Christopher Walken and Sissy Spacak. For most of you Guys out there who think it's a "Chick Flik" it's NOT, let me give you an example I was with a group of friends one night, both guys & girls, and we all watched it and it was a hit i don't one person who didn't like it which just go to show you this movie is truly a great flick.

Movie Review: A sleeper. A hoot. Summary: 5 Stars
Rented this at the video store not knowing anything about it beyond the jacket blurb. Glad I did! This is a sleeper, a hoot, a genuinely cutely funny entertainment. The entire cast including the bit players seem actually to enjoy themselves sending up the 1950's AND the nineties. Good quality soundtrack too. Well worth the time. And how nice to see a movie that ENTERTAINS without gore, raw violence, loud special effects, gratuitous sex, etc. Hey, Hollywood, it still can be done! Tom in Ocean City, MD
Movie Review: Very funny commentary about how nice people used to be Summary: 5 Stars
This is a nice, funny movie, which along the way makes an interesting point. The plot is pretty straitforward, but this is a comedy not a drama, and it is plenty good enough to get us from joke to joke.Films lately seem to be saying that really nice guys come from some other decade, or even century (Kate & Leopold). This might say more about the audience (do we more readily accept niceness if it is ancient?) than the writers, but it is something the film makes you think about, when you're done laughing.
Movie Review: Good ol'fashion fun! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great DVD to own for a great date... it's very funny, light humor that we all can relate to; sure to get a laugh from all! This was on TV yesterday, and my sister pointed it out; I fell in love with this movie instantly, and today I picked up the DVD. It's really very cool to see how family values of the 60s would relate to those values of today (well, the 90s). [Only thing is they need some of The Smashing Pumpkins on the soundtrack (but that's just my own personal desire!).]
