Movie Review: Halarious Movie!! Excellent HD Disc from Paramount!!
Summary: 4 Stars
Halarious especially when seeing it with some friends. I used the HDDVD bookmark feature for the part were they 1st pair skate when they do all those sexual poses..then the sizor.8<~>8 ..great fick..im glad i blind bought it..and glad to support paramount in the meantime.

Id have to say that at times the video want completely wierd on me..like when Will Farell and Wii Arnett were chasing each other over the lake..it looked like a white smear for a face..no definition..but when they were pair skating the definition was great, and the colors vibrant.

Classic Will Ferrell. If you're a Will Ferrell fan you'll love it. If you're not a Will Ferrell fan you'll really like it.Movie Review: Will Ferrell gets all the laughs in this one. Great picture quality by hd standards/hd dvd features below.

As I said above pretty much all the laughs provided in Blades of Glory are provided by Will Ferrell who is becoming as bankable a box office draw as Adam Sandler. With Last years Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby taking in $148,213,377 domestically and Blades another $118,245,842. The latter film Talladega Nights provided much more effective laughs specifially the grace scene then Blades where a lot of the jokes fell flat and Jon Heder basically doing his Napoleon Dynamite impression once again. However there are plenty of laughs from Ferrell's character Chazz Michael Michaels an erotic figure skater who also suffers from a sexual addiction. The film is entertainment and the 93min run time doesn't drag on.
I would recommend if you have a netflix membership renting this one or waiting for cable and saving yourself the money, perhaps purchasing a cheaper version than the hd. Speaking of the hd the transfer did look great even compared to a lot of hd titles.
