Movie Review: Remarkable Film!
Summary: 5 Stars
Well, the price worried me at first, and I still think Paramount should be a little more generous with their price point, but with that being said this movie is definitely worth the price of admission!
The film itself is absolutely hilarious. The cast is great and there's tons of well-chosen top-notch stars, from both Hollywood and from ice skating.
The HD transfer of "Blades of Glory" is truly astonishing with its bright, rich, and vibrant colors and well structured scenes presented through magnificent cinematography and flawless special effects. Amazing visuals!
The Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 audio track is excellent...a well-scored feature!
The introductory menu screen for this title is nice, too - very clean and thematic to the film.
I highly recommend this film!

Movie Review: Awesome Comedy Destined To Become A Classic!

If you haven't seen this movie and love or even like comedy...then this movie is for you. I cried in laughter while watching this movie at the theater. I am definitely looking forward to seeing this movie in HD. As far as the snub towards Blu Ray with all Paramount movies, all I can say is business is business. Paramount had a choice to make their movies for both hd formats, however they decided not to. Hopefully those who own Blu Ray players don't hold a grudge towards the hd dvd format. Both hd formats have their own advantages and disadvantages, however these reviews should really just focus on the quality of the movie that was released. By now, you probably know whether or not you like Will Ferrell. If you are a fan, I'd highly recommend this movie. Just think about it for a second. Will Ferrell's take on figure skating. Yes. Classic.
This movie is so ridiculous I found myself laughing almost the entire time. Like Talladega Nights, Blades pokes serious fun at the sport it represents. I'm sure you'll hate this movie if you're into figure skating, but that's the point. Like Nights said Nascar is kinda dumb, Blades says that figure skating is kinda gay. I'm sorry if that offends you, but if you think it's true, you'll probably laugh a lot.
Movie Review: Will Ferrell at its best.

This is a blind buy for all Will Ferrell fans and lovers of good comedy movies.
Where Talladega Nights ended with its sick humor, this is where Blades of Glory begins. Sometimes weird and totaly absurd, this movie made me laugh all the time.
One of the best comedys for 2007.
Picture quality of this HD-DVD is brilliant, with crisp picture, saturated colors and good detail resolution.
Audio is nothing spectecular, but fairly good.
Watch the extras for a good bunch of deleted scenes, bloopers and outtakes.
