Movie Review: great movie, stunning pic quality

im sure most of us already know the movie but what comes as a pleasant surprise is the sharpness afforded by the HD transfer. every pore on the face and every bead of sweat jumps right out at you! in fact, anything with texture - war ravaged walls and rocks are all brilliant crisp and tactile. the bonus is the behind-the-scenes making of documentary (pretty long) which is very comprehensive and could be a video on its own. highly recommended.Movie Review: Ultrarealistic

Looking for a war movie? this is it the most realistic and maybe the most accurate war movie ever made.I've watchted this film 10 times plus.So many times I've lost count and every time it just gets better and better.Finally on BLU-RAY the only way to see this film. It's as if the action was happening in your living room.(make sure you have a surround sound system crank it up!!!)

There's a few movies I will probably never get tired of watching. Pitch Black, Ghost Dog -- Way of the Samurai, Mary Poppins, Firworks, Equilibrium...and Black Hawk Down.
There are movies that either touch something in you or don't. The movies I listed are all those that find something you either wish you had or you have at your best and enjoy seeing well done on film. Black Hawk Down is one of those.

When I purchased this movie, I was still using my Sony XBR Rear Projection HDTV and PS3 for Blu-Ray. It was a nice picture. Since then, I purchased a Samsung 46" 605 Series Flat Screen. This has the 120 hz capability which turns 60 frames into 120 frames and is smooth as ice. This movie is so realistic. Even if you don't have the up to date equipment it's still a great blu-ray movie.Movie Review: if you go 'black' ...

having viewed BHD several times over the years, i've come to realise that
i haven't really seen all there is to see, until now.
after watching this master blu ray i can now say that my eyes are now fully opened.
my only regret is that the extended version was not included.
great great movie, great great video, great great audio.
