Movie Review: Fantastic Family View
Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great family find. The scenery, music, and story are all beautiful. I have never actually read the book, so I do not know how closely it is followed by the screen play. My children loved the story, and they are quite young. It held their attention throughout, and even my husband and I loved it. Even though there are a few sad parts (my daughter burst into tears when Beauty was sold the first time) it is still a very uplifting and beautiful movie for families. Just like the first reviewer I have been watching this movie since I was 9 years old back in 1994. I am nighteen now and haven't seen the movie for a while but still remember it dearly as it was my most favorite movie on my shelf as a child and teen. I still have it even though it's worn quite a bit but I will show it to my kids. The movie always brings me to tears. This version of the classic is definitely the one to purchase. The cinematography is outstanding, the performances are just right and the story is compelling. My children (7 and 4) were glued to the film the entire way thru. It's exciting, engaging and even made me cry. If you have a horse lover in your house, I can't think of a better film. Actually, if you have a love of great film-making, you should own this film, horse lover or not.Movie Review: I LOVE THIS FILM!

Movie Review: Beautiful movie for horse lovers, but...

...Some of the scenes were a bit much for children under the age of 10. I watched with my niece, who is nine years old. She couldn't get the image of Ginger out of her mind. That being said, this is a beautifully filmed, beautifully written movie. Whether you are young or a bit older, you will need tissues. You will run the gamut of emotions.
