Movie Reviews of Black Adder IIIMovie Review: Black Adder Summary: 5 Stars
If you've never seen Black Adder, then you must buy this. In fact, I'd recommend buying the complete collection. I think they are the funniest movies/sketches in the English language. They're extremely clever and we've watched them many times and have never tired of them.
Movie Review: Black Adder meets Samuel Johnson Summary: 5 Stars
Quick witted story of Samuel Johnson, the creator of the English dictionary, meeting Black Adder. My high school students found it informative and amusing. They laughed in all the right places. The film inspired them to create new words of their own.
Movie Review: Fallen even further... Summary: 5 Stars
In the third Blackadder series, Rowan Atkinson's character has slid even further down the social ladder and is now butler to Prince George, played with comic brilliance by TV series House's Hugh Laurie. With him as always is perma-sidekick Baldrick.
Movie Review: Black Adder gets it right Summary: 5 Stars
Funny as Black Adder II was, losing some of the extreme bloodshed that happened in that series has made this one even easier to watch. The three main characters play off against oneanother very smoothly, and the plot situations develop well.
Movie Review: Classic Summary: 5 Stars
They just keep getting better. Things never go as planned but always work out in the end. British humor at it's best. Rowan Atkinson is a great smarmy weasel. Hugh Laury is hilarious as the daft prince. Get'em all.
