Movie Review: A very entertaining movie

First off let me say that most HK horrors (if you even want to call them that) are not scary, they are for the most part meant to be funny. If you don't understand HK films or culture then this will probably seem very cheesy or stupid. But I can definately say that I loved it. It's just about two average young guys who get into a mess with zombies over the course of one night. They run a bootleg VCD shop in a mall, and gradually all the people left in the mall are turned into zombies one by one. It's just really a great movie because the characters are likeable, the situations are funny, the zombies act funny, and everyone is running around trying to escape for their lives. I actually own the HK DVD by Mei Ah but unfortunately the video quality is not the best so I am going to buy this to see if it's any better. But I notice that the running time on this version is shorter than the original. I'm hoping scenes are not cut? Also there are NO extras on this DVD, while the HK DVD has many extras such as the trailer and even an alternate ending. Either way if you appreciate HK cinema and this type of fun movie it is more than recommended.Movie Review: ARE YOU GUYS f'NG SERIOUS?!

I dont know what the hell everyone is thinking giving this movie a bad review. This is probably my number two favorite zombie movie of all time. And before anyone starts saying anything about me not nowing enough about horror films, just know ive seen them all dammit!! From imports around the world to every american classic.Especially anything to do with zombies. BIOZOMBIE to me was the asian versioin of Dawn Of The Dead. But Biozombie is really funnY and delivers it well. The movie also reminded me of Shaun Of The Dead in the sense that its gory,funny,and sad towards the end. This movie is just really really good and i dont understand why people would give it bad reviews. From my understanding\, I think its that people are really turned off watching imports. If a film is dubbed ost american fans will automatically be turned off by it. If you love horror films and imports youll live this film. If you like horror films in general you should like this film as well. Like I said its become one of my all time favorites and its one of those zombie films i can watch over and over again.Movie Review: Woody And Bee: Zombie Slayers...

Woody Invincible and his pal Bee are just two numbskulls who run a VCD shop at the local mall. They spend most of their time scamming unwary customers / suckers out of their money. When not doing this, the pea-brained pair cruises the mall, trying to pick up girls. Unbeknownst to them, an underground chemical company has created a serum that turns anyone who drinks it into a cannibalistic zombie! Of course, things go awry, and someone is infected. Woody and Bee happen to be out in their boss' car when... WHAM! They hit the now-zombified guy! They load him into the trunk after giving him what they think is a soft drink. Nope, it was the zombie serum! Our "heroes" drive back to the mall so that a good old-fashioned zombie slaughter-fest can ensue! I like the way this one starts out so totally comic, but develops into a tragic disaster, full of creeping dread. I also like the change in the Woody and Bee characters from complete dolts to unlikely warriors! BIOZOMBIE is an excellent offering from Tokyo Shock...Movie Review: One of the best horror/comedies to date.

I first saw this movie a year ago at Otakon 2000, an anime convention, and it had me and everyone else in the audience rolling on the floors with laughter. Bio-Zombie is set around two slackers, Crazy Bee and Woody Invincible who work in a cd shop at a local mall. One night the two are running an errand for their boss when they hit a pedestrian, not being too bright they hide the body in the trunk of their car and head back to the shop. Unfortunatly the man doesn't stay dead and soon is spreading his mysterious Zombie infection through the mall. Now Bee and Woody, along with a handfull of survivors are forced to fight their way through the maze-like, zombie infested cooridors to freedom. Combining all the classic elements from cheesy horror flicks and some found exclusivly in video games, Bio-Zombie comes out as a fast paced ride of of gorry thrills, and witty humor. If you're a fan of movies like Army of Darkness than this is a movie that shouldn't be missed especially in subtittles.Movie Review: one of the best zombie movies I`ve ever seen!

I bought Bio Zombie not knowing what to expect, and it ended up being one of the best investments I ever made. This movie is pretty high-quality for a Hong-Kong/zombie film, two genres which I love but know fall short in the quality dept. This film has comedy, action, cool music, and a good amnt. of gore also the mall it takes place in is awesome. the zombies are pretty cool looking, especially the guy they run over in the beginning. And the decapitation scenes are gross, and hilarious because they beat up the head afterwards. Also this movie has a great ending. It has many references towards videogames such as House of the Dead. I love this film and recommend it to lovers of zombie films and Resident Evil games. If you dont like subtitles beware they go rather quickly.
