This is my new favorite Tae Bo workout. I am an advanced exerciser and have done almost all the Tae-Bo's. I would say this workout is more advanced than all of Billy's latest releases, but not as advanced as say, Get Ripped or any of the Advanced Lives, but it works up a great sweat and is not too fast to focus on your form. All in all, Billy is back and better than ever! A great workout!
Movie Review: Very poor workout DVD Summary: 1 StarsThis workout consists of doing a lot of quick, jerky moves, without real instructions about how to safely do them. You get hardly any instruction on how to properly place your body. Billy spends more time telling you to smile than how to properly perform his workout. Also, his sidekick/cheerleader doesn't demonstrate great control when she does the moves either. Also, this DVD is not divided into chapters so you can do just upper body, lower body, or ab work, or even skip past the intro. It is basically just a video put onto a DVD, and the sound quality is pretty poor. I do NOT recommend that anyone buy this workout DVD.
Movie Review: Great workout!!!!! Different from Cardio Circuit 1 Summary: 5 StarsI love the Cardio Circuit workout so very much. I was worried that 2 would rehash the same moves as 1 and that is NOT the case. They are totally different and I do one or the other each and every day and I am still get sore. You learn to move up the itensity and it keeps you going. It is one of the great line of tae bo tapes!
Movie Review: Cardio Circuit 1 is more intense Summary: 3 StarsThis is a good intermediate workout. Since it is an hour, the pacing is less intense than cardio circuit 1. Good solid combinations, but I wouldn't say it took me to the "next level." Not intense enough for serious weight loss, but good for day to day weight maintenance.
Movie Review: Billy Blanks rocks! Summary: 5 StarsThis video is similar to the first one (Cardio Ciruit 1) except it is longer -- this one is an hour and the other one is only about half an hour. Billy is a great motivator and keeps you motivated throughout the whole workout. He makes sure you are able to do the moves, and then you go to cardio mode to get a great workout.
I've been doing this video and the first one for over a month now and I love them. I've mastered the moves and I am now able to really focus on the muscles I am supposed to be working. I sweat like crazy everytime, and I'm seeing great results.
